a small group of extraordinary people to experience the majestic
mountains & lush jungles of Peru. You will visit many sacred
sites and ancient temples on this tour but none will compare with
the journey that you will take within. During our 16 day Shamanic
Adventure of Peru you will have the rare opportunity to participate
in 6 Ayahuasca ceremonies.

The Ayahuasca brew is considered by the Amazonian tribes to be a master "teacher
plant". It has been used by Shamans
of the Peruvian Andes and Amazon jungle for millennia as an essential
part of their traditional medicine and as a way of expanding consciousness.
In Quechua, the term "aya" means spirit or soul while "huasca" means
rope or vine (the vine of spirit). Because of Ayahuascas benevolent
healing feminine energy the people of the Rainforest often refer
to her 'Mother Ayahuasca'.
Each Ayahuasca Ceremony produces a profound reaction in the body,
mind and spirit. Ayahuasca allows us to release emotional blockages,
conquer our deepest fears, and awaken to our higher potentials.
For the Shipibos (Ayahusaca Tribe), these psychotropic
plants are known as "murayacai" which means "Shaman makers".
The plants reveal to us the true world, while the normal world is
considered an illusion.

Peru as a place and culture is amazingly beautiful and special. It has a distinct feeling of purity to it and is unique to any other place I have ever traveled. The people are very friendly and unassuming and maintain a relatively traditional lifestyle. The small town of Pisaq and the Sacred River Valley is spectacular, surrounded by the high Andes, with various Inca ruins, each to blow your mind.
At one end of the valley as it descends into high jungle is Machu Picchu. We arrived here close to the end of our tour, after we had completed the medicine ceremonies so we were all already wide open and receptive to this magical and mysterious place. I saw/felt in my imagination many beings and activities that once took place here. Like a waking, floating dream.... We did a beautiful entry ceremony with a Quechua Shaman/musician and there appeared a Condor (rare) and rainbow while we were there….. both important symbols in Inca tradition. Stunning!
